It’s hard to believe that we’re already into the year 2017! Have the holidays really come and gone? Sometimes with all the hectic activities between Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa our memories become a blur. Our wish from The Flower Garden to all our friends is that you enjoyed your holidays, spent many happy moments with ones you love and that the New Year will hold many blessings and much prosperity for all.

March 17 — (Sunday) – St Patrick’s Day

March20 — (Wednesday) – First Day of Spring

March28 –Thursday) – First Day of Passover

April 24 — (Wednesday) – Administrative Professionals’ Day

These are some of the special days you might like to mark on your calendar along with birthdays and anniversaries to remind yourself to order flowers to celebrate these occasions.

Remember that Valentine’s Day is more than just February 14th. Be the first to show your sweetheart that she or he is special by sending your bouquet any time during Valentine’s Week – February 7 through February 14. You can have it delivered to work and he or she will be the envy of every coworker or deliver it home and let it be savored and enjoyed beforehand.

The first day of spring is a great choice to send tulips, daisies, iris or any mixed bouquet to a special someone just to celebrate the end of winter and the rebirth of life!

Just like Valentine’s Week, Administrative Professionals’ Day is really a week long celebration. It is April 21 through April 26. Aside from your spouse of significant other, the one person who makes your life easier and worth living is your secretary, receptionist or personal assistant. Don’t let the week pass without recognizing the valuable services these people provide.
